It got down to a freezing 2 degrees last night. The house was so cold but I’m still refusing to put the heater on just yet.

I said “sod it” and put the central heating on. Turned it off in the living areas but programmed it to only come on in the bedrooms and hallway..
Today was nice, cool but nice. Went out and gathered up some firewood from Corkhill bros. It will be lit the day after I get back from the ANZAC day game.

Sadly our ducted gas heater isn’t as fancy and has no zones. It’s either on throughout the whole house or off, not very efficient at all. Not a great start to today, with light showers already and cold.

Went out for an early walk with the fur baby so kissed the rain but it was chilly!

I’ll hopefully get out to do that later this afternoon. So far this week we haven’t come across any ‘skippys’ though when gardening in the front yard on the weekend we found some kangaroo poo! Our house backs onto a public pathway.

I see the buggers every day as we live opposite bushland. Bloody pests!

Reasonable day in Sydney, cloudy, sunny muggy, a couple of spots of rain. Went for a swim at the Stadium pool after work, 25.5 water temp, just beautiful, jumped in the pool where we are staying after getting back, 20c you could tell the difference, ouch.

No swimming here today. Currently 12 and raining. Caved in and lit the fire. The dog has camped in front of it and won’t budge.

I am freezing. I am so close to putting the heater on for just a little bit, very low….. Dam this stupid weather coming a few weeks too soon!

It was an ugly day. Might nip on up to the Gold Coast for a night or two over the weekend. Looking like mid 20,s and the humidity should be gone.

Well I caved in and put the heater on low for a bit before bed. It’s a sunny day, AT THE MOMENT , so hopefully it will stay that way and provide enough warmth to heat the house up a bit today.
