A typical Canberra winter's day today. A frosty start, warming up to a beautiful 12 degrees, lovely blue sky and thanfully no breeze.

Stupidly hot day here today by DC standards. Got to 98 degrees which is bearable but in the direct sun on the astro field, it got up to 111 so they had to move my sons gridiron training to a grassy outfield part of a baseball pitch.

It was 36 today but on the pitch was 44.

The forecast looks to be good tho with nothing over 30 for next week.

Pity my brand new lawn is busted. Would be perfect weather to do the yard.

Finally some cooler temps this week coming.

Nothing over 30c and down as low as 24. Is autum finally showing its face?

Overnight rain here and everything wet and damp here but looks like the rain has gone even though its cloudy and cool. 22c-34c in Darwin at the moment and looking forward to it in a few days but i'm sure by the end of the week i will be over the hot weather there but at the moment looking forward to it from the cool to cold and damp weather Sydney is having.

Thanks MR, so looking forward to getting away somewhere nice and warm especially after this horror week. Also nice to get away from work, i made sure i had a nice bottle of bubbles chilled when i got home last night to just celebrate i was on holidays.
