I noticed it was a bit wet in the morning yesterday but never actually heard it rain. It’s very cold here again this morning. I don’t think today is going to be too pleasant at all.

Agreed. I’ve lit the fire, propped up the theatre chairs and am settling in to watch FUBAR. Hope it’s an ok series.

Aah..you probably told me that previously Eddie and I’ve forgotten. My memory isn’t as sharp as it used to be lol! Age does that to you. Enjoy your lovely warm weather as it’s freezing here and the sun is still having a long sleep in. By the twine it comes out it may be 3 o’clock the way it’s going.

Oh Jaxxx I’ve moved up in the world We will be in the Members lounge at a table with sweeping views of track I will be decked out in an Armani suit. But I will be sure to look out for you should I choose to return to my roots and spend some time in the bottom stand

Dad always said Rosehill was the best racecourse in Australia. He hated snobs and big noters as he used to call them..

He rarely came to Sydney with Mum and I but loved that my sister and brother in law chose to live around the corner from the track. That's the only one I've ever been to. I lived at Rosehill for quite a few years myself and only moved east as I kept fainting in the heat plus closer to work at the time....I'm very delicate....then I became a Roosters fan..

We are only going to Randwick because 2 of us leave in the east and the other chap is lower north shore so easy for us to get to. Anyway, clothes don't maketh the man..manners do..

Randwick used to be my favourite with the big outdoor auditorium, so much character. Then they redeveloped and 'modernised' it and its a shadow of the old days for the average racegoer. So disappointment.

Rosehill definitely my favourite track these days, and closer to my current digs. Could walk there, have to do that one day. Have brunch at Paz on root.

Last time i went to Randwick races was back in 1978 with my father, i was more interested in listening the Roosters playing Wests at Lidcombe on the radio than the races that day. Did work a block away from the race course from late 2007 till mid 2014 and the sites you would see especially after the crowd spilled out of the races at the end of the day was amazing, some really classy ladies then
