My old girl lives up there and she has the fur babies in winter jackets when it’s about 15 degrees.
Poor QLDers.
That sounds about right! I remember many years ago visiting some family friends up there in summer and there was a bit of a cool change come through. The temp dropped to about 18 and they all put jumpers on and were debating whether they should put the heater on too. We were still in shorts and T-shirt’s.

Happens every time I go up there. I head on down to the Shorncliffe pier some mornings around 5 am . it’s about 19 degrees and I’m there in shorts/tshirt but the locals are getting around in puffer jackets!
Yeah, it's been 22 years now so I guess you can call me a QLDer.
I’ve been living in Canberra now for nearly 40 years so I’m a Ken Berhan but I still often think of myself as being a NSWelshian as that’s where I was born and grew up.
I'm dying here in Hong Kong. We have a short rainy season before summer really hits. It is so hot and humid that you don't really stop sweating all day. I have a 5 minute walk from home to office and I was sweating like a pig.

I really, really hate humidity. Maybe it's because I've always lived in dry regions like rural NSW and Canberra but my body cannot cope with it. It's energy sappy and also gives me a headache from the dehydration. You must be due to come home soon though I've read we may be in for a very hot dry summer here in Aus.

Its the absolute worst MR. I think I've adjusted to it sometimes but not really. The constant sweating and damp clothes drives you nuts. I even carry a small towel in my pocket like a weird old man.
