I had a filthy Kebab for lunch but even the wind from that was nothing compared to what’s here in Canberra today.

Was clear sunny day here and 18 c but the wind chill factor made it feel like 8 c just after noon, wind bought down a huge branch in the drive way from the gum trees just as i came out of the stairwell door, scared the crap out of me as i heard it hit the roof before bouncing off onto the driveway.

The winds were very strong here today too Horrie. And very cold. As usual I was very worried about branches falling off our giant gum trees but luckily only smaller sized debris came down this time. The big branches sure do make a noise when they come down though so I can sure relate with what happened to you!

Had i been out the door five-ten seconds earlier it may have hit me on the head, it was big enough where it could have knocked me out, just good timing by me

Cool and overcast here. Warmed up by taking the dog for a walk around Lake Tuggeranong.

She’s now passed out waiting for me to light the fire this arvo.

Yesterday when going to work at 6.30 am it was grey and drizzly, it felt coldish but didn't feel as cold as when i finished work at 1 pm. Today was nice and warm in side but the temperature was 8 c at 8 am but with the wind chill factor it was 4 c, was a beautiful clear day which got to about 16 c

A pretty good day for the last day of June today. Lots of blue sky and sunshine, not that the sun is particularly hot this time of year. But the wind is a bit nasty and on the chilly side.

Beautiful day in Shoalhaven Heads today seeing now the hideous winds from the last few days have gone. Currently 17c and sunny here, just been to the Berry Markets and now going to go for a walk to the Botanic Gardens before the football, haven’t decided yet to watch the footy from our accomodation or the pub, will check out the pub on the walk as it is close to the botanic gardens.

Very cold day here on Gold Coast Still it did not stop me from getting out for a morning surf at my old local break

I love this place have to move back for a few years once my Daughter finishes school

Thanks MR, got back home this afternoon but will be heading back down to Shoalhaven Heads again in a few weeks. It was quite a mild overcast morning when we left and got a few spots of rain while driving up Mount Ousley just past Wollongong , very overcast when we got home and had a bit of rain just after we got inside, was cool when we got in and the heater went straight on.. Rain predicted tonight and tomorrow.
