A real winters day here only getting to 14 c in St Peters, didn't get out of bed till around 10 am, rained on and off , only went down to the local centre to pick up a few groceries and had a wonton noodle soup for a late lunch.

OH RT We all need a quiet day here and there. Seeing as though I’ve been booze free for over a month a couple of days off from the gym will do no harm. The cool and wet weather on both Sunday and Monday and being booze free has also allowed me time to realign reflect and refresh my mind over the last few days

Why thank you RT Whilst this was not my intention if my non drinking can help or inspire anyone to change their own lifestyles then I would be truly touched

In reality though of the two I can think of that may constitute this couple you speak of Im afraid to say one appears far to scarred and damaged by life to be able to spend a significant time away from the booze and face reality.

Whilst the other I think has no desire for change and is happy with their lifestyle of trips to the RSL playing keno and downing schooner after schooner whilst talking to friends about the latest Peta Credlin story on sky news But this is ok as after all it is their life and they can choose how they entertain themselves

Now back on topic The Weather here is constantly changing today The sun comes and goes snd it is a tad chilly still I’ve conquered the gym today but have and will not make it to the beach as the weather is not really beach weather

Lovely sunny day here on course at Randwick Would be much nicer had Gunship got the money in the previous race at Newcastle as opposed to the dead heat and had Argentia won as opposed to running second in the previous at Randwick after getting double figure odds yesterday Still hope springs eternal and I have a good feeling s about Port Lockroy in the next at Newcastle and have secured $7 odds yesterday and it is now 2-1
