Beautiful day here today, currently 23 c and predicted to get to 24 c, going to spend a bit of time in the back yard before heading off to work this afternoon, i really dislike the afternoon shifts when you get weather like this.

Why is Sydney getting all this lovely weather today when only 3 hours away it's not very nice at all. It's been cold with showers on and off so far. As I type I see some blue sky off to the west so hopefully things will pick up in the afternoon.

It looks like we may have a nasty storm on the way looking at the radar.

Just had a very short electrical storm pass through at about 9.45 pm and now it is raining quite heavily.

Well the storm was a good one. Lots of thunder and lightning and some good rain. The fur baby did not agree however.

It was a cracker! I’ve not seen one like it since we left the States. Was awesome sitting on the deck watching the lighting over the valley and listening to the rain hitting the roof.

I’m not brave enough to sit outside. We needed the rain though as it’s going to be a very dry summer without it.

Next couple of days are going to lovely here at 18 and 19 respectively before cooling back a bit the following few days, then we hit the magical 20’s next week!
