Cool today after a very warm day yesterday. I’ll be in Sydney next weekend for the Paul McCartney so it will be interesting to see what the weather has in store then.

Being a simple boy from the ghetto that is Belconnen, a number of parents identified me as being a barbarian (which is pretty accurate). It's a weird Camberra thing where parents sending their kids to my grandma's primary school act as if they're sending their kids to a $60k a year private school.
Fortunately we had a get-out clause. We had to leave early to get to Sydney in order to pickup our new corgi. Yes, I'm pretty much the queen now (or is it Prince Andrew who's caring for the corgis now?) Sigh. Sounds like I'm destined to be a barbarian.

Beautiful morning here at Grassy Head, was nice yesterday when arrived and headed straight to the beach, will head down for a few hours this morning after breakfast befote heading off to Port Macquarie in the afternoon. Had three nights earlier in Dorrigo which for the most part there was thunderstorms , rain and hail between periods of sunshine.

Absolutely beautiful at Middle Head Beach at Grassy Head , spent an hour and a half there, water beautiful, about 26c now and not a cloud in the sky. Have to pack the car up now and head an hour down the road to Port Macquarie, don't want to leave our lovely cabin we are in here now bit will be back around in the area again in about a week.

Was blowing a gale when we arrived at Port Macquarie yesterday so was no beach, was nice and sunny, couldn't even use the balcony last night because of the wind, where we are staying is right above Town beach so very exposed. Doesnt seem as windy this morning so far will be out for a walk after breakfast.

It has been a mixed bag weather wise the last few days , Friday there was rain happening at Smoky Cape but it was amazing watching the weather patterns unfold up at the lighthouse, yesterday was a beautiful day and had breakfast overlooking the beach, after leaving Smoky Cape for the short drive to Grassy Head and it was a cracking day for the beach. Beautiful day so far , going to have breakfast on the balcony over looking the river before more beach.
