The weather has been dangerous lately.
Last week we got smashed by fist sized hail stones that broke the windows.
Yesterday got hit by a massive thunder storm. The roof leaked and downstairs flooded.
In between I've suffered a terrible heatwave.

Not only a pain with the cost and inconvenience of getting repairs but also the scare it would have given you and your daughter and especially the grandkids. The weather has been really bad up that way lately from what I've been reading. I hope it can all be sorted out quickly for you. Shocking time of year also around Christmas and new year. Wishing you and your family all the best.
Hope you had a great xmas with your little family, and shall enjoy reading your contributions in the new year.

Like Eddie I got hammered by the Qld weather. We copped the Xmas Day Tornado. It was very frightening but our house escaped damage. My suburb was hit hard though and the trail of destruction is the worst I have seen. This led to 4 or 5 days of blackout and a heatwave. Then came the storms and floods. It was one of the worst things I have ever experienced.
