Yep i noticed that, when i got home after the stadium and had a shower i noticed the weather had changed and it,had become overcast and windy, sky was beautiful and blue while in the pool ,timed the day at the stadium perfectly.
Just after 11 pm here now and it has been raining for about the last 30 mins.

          • The weather has been dangerous lately.
Last week we got smashed by fist sized hail stones that broke the windows.
Yesterday got hit by a massive thunder storm. The roof leaked and downstairs flooded.
In between I've suffered a terrible heatwave.

Oh Eddie I'm sorry to hear that. Not only a pain with the cost and inconvenience of getting repairs but also the scare it would have given you and your daughter and especially the grandkids. The weather has been really bad up that way lately from what I've been reading. I hope it can all be sorted out quickly for you. Shocking time of year also around Christmas and new year. Wishing you and your family all the best.

Thanks Eddie. It’s been a pretty big week and I’m enjoying getting back to a bit of normality today.

I see you’re still getting storms and general wet weather up your way Eddie. I sure hope the situation improves for you soon. We’ve just had another storm pass through but nothing to complain about. I really feel for everyone who is dealing with the ridiculous amounts of rainfall up north at the moment. I thought it was supposed to be a hot dry summer.

                          • Like Eddie I got hammered by the Qld weather. We copped the Xmas Day Tornado. It was very frightening but our house escaped damage. My suburb was hit hard though and the trail of destruction is the worst I have seen. This led to 4 or 5 days of blackout and a heatwave. Then came the storms and floods. It was one of the worst things I have ever experienced.

Stay safe too Voods. Can we ever have a summer these days without extreme weather conditions? I still remember as a young child on holidays in Queensland in 74. Our family was on our last day of a holiday to the Sunshine Coast and a ‘low level’ cyclone ripped through during the night. I and my siblings were terrified. The next day there was a lot of destruction all around as we left our accommodation for the trip home. We got as far as Brisbane and we had to spend a few nights in a hotel there as Brisbane was flooded. That experience has never left me and I have a fear of wild windy weather ever since as I’ll never get the sound of that cyclone out of my head,
