Well another freezing cold day here today. It was supposed to get to 15 but the sun didn’t break through the clouds until about 11:30. It then disappeared again about 3 hours later. The result was a top of about 13/and generally typical Canberra in July weather.

Sunny again now and quite windy. Looked dark and grey when i left work at around 3pm but cleared away again. Have all the windows opened airing the place with this strong breeze.

Not much to say except, it’s cold. I could post a video about it being as Cold As Ice, but I don’t want to get in trouble.

Absolutely stunning weather up here in Ottawa today. Glorious sunshine, a slight breeze with next to no humidity and a comfy 25degrees when we arrived. Looking forward to the next couple of weeks.

It's a muggy 31'C in Fukui today... I don't take the humidity well for some reason (feels way hotter than Australia)

Doing indoor activities with my daughter (e.g. movies, karaoke, drawing at the library...etc). Open to suggestions about what else can be done when it's hot.

Climate change reminder - The Summer Monsoon moving south just when I'm about to begin a house build. I had a Container full of architectural features but needed to remove it prior to the slab being laid (Battleaxe block). Since removal, my long collected precious features have been under plastic and the rain hasn't stopped nor the wind. Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world.

Was great to see a bit of sun today, managed to do a bit of washing when i got home from work and got it out on the line and completely dried. Even just standing in the sun hanging the washing on the line felt good after all the rain we had, funny how something so simple and mundane can up lift the spirits.

Got to minus 3 last night, currently 7.
It’s been a battle trying to keep the gas usage down this week as the meter is due to be read in about 12/days and we’re headed for a record reading and bill. So the heating has been on a lower setting the past 5 days or left off at certain times of the day which means a not so nice cold house.

Got one here today as well. Heading out for a bike ride around the Ottawa River and Rideau Canal today.

Back from the ride. The weather was absolutely delightful. Patchy clouds with good soakings of sunshine. 28degrees with a light breeze and almost no humidity.
Was great riding weather. Had a lovely outdoor patio lunch as well. Montreal smoked pastrami S/W and a side of traditional poutine.

Going to smash a 20 pack of Timbits now and undo all the good work.

I must say the weather Gods have blessed Sydney today I’m sitting on a quiet Eastern Suburbs beach enjoying the warm winter sunshine and there is not a cloud in the sky. This is the life
