Thanks MR, the last couple of breaks we had planned up the north coast have been affected by the unusual weather patterns so had to be cancelled but going to the top end i think the weather Gods will be kind, its going to be funny packing summer like clothes, i forgotten what they are like . Today though was a nice first day of the holidays, caught up with good friends at the football then me and the better half went and had drinks at a nearby Surry Hills pub and reminisced about the times we used to spend at this venue and that was before we had even met, was probably only going to stay for one drink but the music was playing was reggae style and then suddenly they played Twist Of Fate by Olivia and we both looked at each other said we are home and stayed on for much longer, its funny even though we never crossed each others paths in that venue before we met it was a special place for both of us in our earlier years. We then went to a nice Vietnamese restaurant for dinner close by and then headed home for a nice glass of port and some chocolates from the House Of Anvers, such a nice afternoon / night for the first day of holidays., now for the packing tomorrow for hopefully a Monday get away.

What an absolutely glorious day sitting here on a beautiful Eastern Suburbs beach. Bright sunshine 19/20 degrees.Waters a bit chilly but good for a 5 minute dip after laying in the sun for an hour. Hopefully more of the same tomorrow. Love weather like this you can sit in the sun for hours on end and not get too burntWhen you trust your television
