Love those old school cocktail machines but I’m more into pinnies. Just love em and have passed that onto the kids as well. I think it’s awesome that in todays age, they would rather play a pinball machine than a PlayStation.
That's pretty awesome... I'd love a pinnie but they cost more and are a lot more mechanical to repair (I wouldn't know where to start, whereas I'm pretty sweet with debugging electrics).

I've got a heap of pinball games on my Saturn but it's not really the same.

Are you the one that said a friend somehow built a pinnie using a couple of computer monitors or something along those lines? Be interesting to see the setup.

Not me mate. I’m the type to just pay someone to come over to fix and service them.

I used to own a couple but had to flog them when I moved to Canberra. I actually bought them from Luna Park in Sydney at an auction held in the park.

      • Summer has reared its ugly head again today. Expected 32 around game time this evening for my sons scrimmage. The Gatorade will be getting a workout tonight!

I have a few items from Wonderland in my back yard that I've restored. Always feels great being able to take home part of a themepark

            Absolutely!

Wonderland was very close to home years and years ago. That’s awesome you were able to pick up a bit of history and even better you could restore it!

            Well done.

            • Back up into the 30s again this week. Fish should be biting in the Potomac so might head out and wet a line in the hope of hooking a snakehead.

              • Absolutely cracking day here on a beautiful Eastern Suburbs beach soaking up the sun. To celebrate this beautiful late winter weather I have a nice little sing song

                • Usually my day off on Mondays but working this afternoon so having tomorrow off and it is supposed to be 24 c and sunny so will either spend time around the new stadium pool or head down to La Perouse to get some sun or head to the Botanic Gardens, either way i am not going to waste a rare sunny day with the predicted higher than normal rainfall predicted for Spring.

                            • Stinker here today. I decided to walk some laps of the field where my sons footy team was training this arvo and bugger me! Air temp was 34 but on the pitch it would have been around 40+ I reckon. Those Astro turf fields heat up a lot. I really felt for them training on that today.

                              • Beautiful day out today, managed to give the new stadium pool a good work out today, there is one indoor pool and an outdoor pool, the out door pool had people doing laps and the indoor pool had an recreational lane open so bobbed around in the indoor pool for a while which was heated to 27 c. Got into the outside pool for a while which was lovely, temp was saying it was 25 c then sat in the sun for a while, just lovely, today really felt like a step towards to retirement for me.
