Horrible day yesterday here and as well today with it pouring with rain. Throw into the mix I have a rotten head cold that laid me out yesterday it will be another day drinking laying in her couch drinking cups of tea ftom my mug just is pictured.

Lots of rain today but it eased of later in the afternoon and even just a little bit of sun here in the last hour, tomorrow not supposed to be as bad but Saturday predicted between 50-70 mm of rain and another 35 mm on Sunday.

A brief reprieve today, cloudy and a bit of sun but its like being in the eye of the cyclone, a bit of calm after the couple of days of torrential rain then more coming tomorrow. School holidays ending this weekend so it will be chaos on the roads and also the Bathurst races.

I can’t believe all the rain there since we left almost a year ago. I am looking forward to the race this weekend in the rain. Hope I can find a way to watch it over here.

Started raining here again about 2.30 pm, not heavy but its constant.

Pearler of a day here today. Got to 27 and full sunshine. Tomorrow is down by 11 so only mid teens but still sunny.

Might go and chase some striper bass on the Potomac.

Rain just starting to get constant here, luckily got some things out on the line earlier this morning and the majority of things dried.
