Well as promised it’s a scorching 36 degrees here today. It hasn’t been this hot all summer.

And for all the stats nerds, it’s been the hottest March day in Canberra’s history apparently!

We’ve gone from the hottest March day on record one day to overcast and 20 degrees the next. Totally bizarre weather.

Not sure exactly what the temperature got to at home today but it was cool, google did say 24c at one time but it felt cooler than that, it was also windy and overcast , even rained while i was at Newtown earlier.
Yesterday it was sweltering, i got home from work and spent time in the pool of a place we are house sitting for close by.

After last weeks heat I’m certainly enjoying the cooler conditions that yesterday and today have brung

29 in Camp Hill and muggy . Bugger the sun bring on the rain . Although next week on the south coast so hoping its mild down there.

Looks like a nice storm brewing just as i'm getting ready to go into town for a function.

Thunder getting louder and closer and light rain now.

We had the storm first thing this morning, then about 10mm of rain. The sun is finally out now, just a few hours before it's due to set.

Turned out to be a glorious night last night, it was still raining very lightly when we got to Broadway but by the time we got to the venue at UTS the rain had stopped, had drinks and canapes out on terrace that looked over towards the Anzac Bridge and Barangaroo, had a beautiful sunset and there was a beautiful rainbow over the CBD which lasted for ages, then to add it of later in the night there were fireworks on the harbour, a very enjoyable night. You could tell around home had more rain during the evening as the roads and footpaths were very wet.

Overcast here today with a maximum of 23 c and no rain till around lunchtime tomorrow according to google so will head over to Kirribilli Markets for a browse and a walk around the harbour.
