What a beautiful day it is outside Sun shining and not a cloud in the sky. Great day for Mrs Walker to do the washing and hang it out Then seeing as though we had such a good time last Saturday to once again play dress ups by putting on our finest and most elegant clothing to head to the races at Randwick

A bit cool here today after a wet start. The next 5 days look fantastic though so I hope it stays that way. My daughter is currently in Sydney with a friend and texted me today to say Sydney is ‘hot’. It just goes to show how we become acclimatised to our home weather.

The wind is the bastard at the moment. Coming straight off the Brindies with a vengeance! It was officially 14c at the Raiders game this arvo but felt like just 6 with the wind chill.

The wind was cold. I stayed indoors most of the afternoon either at home or the shops, but I did notice it when I went outside. I can imagine what it was like at the stadium.

A chilly but beautiful start to the day today. A typical Canberra autumn day with a fresh start and beautiful blue skies!

Sunny but a cool breeze blowing, perfect for drying blankets, towels out on the line, stuff that was used while the painting was being done. Madly cleaning lots of stuff and going through clothes to put back into the wardrobes, going to be ruthless and get rid of things i haven't worn for a long while. Hopefully will get out for a walk and enjoy the late autumn sun.

I bet the painting looks great Horrie. It’s nice when you can do a tidy up and clean out. Well actually it’s not at the time but worth it at the end. I’ve been on a few ruthless clean out missions over the past few years trying to de clutter our place. I need to get the kids to go through stuff though as they have so much crap.

I bet the painting looks great Horrie. It’s nice when you can do a tidy up and clean out. Well actually it’s not at the time but worth it at the end. I’ve been on a few ruthless clean out missions over the past few years trying to de clutter our place. I need to get the kids to go through stuff though as they have so much crap.

Painting looks really good, thanks MR, so happy with the colours in the bedrooms, takes on a different hue in the evening or not in full sunlight, a slightly darker tone which is perfect for sleeping. The lounge room and kitchen are the same colour as before but looks so much fresher now. Now its slowly getting everything back in place, lounge room all finished and main bedroom all but finished, it was quite therapeutic going through some of the clothes, some went straight into a bag for Vinnies, another one was a question mark pile and others were just hang straight back up in wardrobe, amazing how much room i have to hang things now. The second bedroom which is more like a computer room, study,office and storage is still a mess but a work in progress. Have lots of books stacked out on one of the kitchen benches and will go through and cull some before they go back on the shelves hopefully making some more spare room.

Just going to take some stuff down to Vinnies at Tempe now and then go for a walk around the Cooks River, Wolli Creek.

Undertaking mine tomorrow. Stuck at the hospital all day today.

Aiming for the next 7 days straight incorporating 3x Mount Wanniassa and 3x Mount Taylor with an easier lap of Lake BG to finish it off. Doggo will sleep for weeks after!

I’m glad it all looks good for you. It’s a pain and disruptive but worth it in the end, as is doing a clean out and de-clutter. Not to mention the relief of having chosen the right colours.

Oh that’s not good. I hope the hospital saw things moving in a positive direction at least. For the walks I prefer to stick to flat ground with only a few hilly areas to climb. The little pest is a mini fox terrier so he tends to walk me than the other way around and he was certainly full of energy today.

Thanks MR. Was a big day with both chemo and radiation.

I don’t mind the hills but some around the Southside are killers! I find the only flat walks are on the paths around the lakes but I do enjoy the dirt trails and they are mostly through the hills.
