Sure is. Look amazing around 9am but the rot has set in now. Sat on the deck and watched it come in from the Brindies. Looked awful and now it’s just a miserable. Fog coming in and can’t see the mountains now.
decided to make some Taco Bell style Crunchwrap’s for lunch and eat them in the Rooster Cave while watching Cocaine Bear before the game this arvo.

          • Just had another down pour of rain but looking out the window now i can see blue sky again, this weather is very Melbourne like, four seasons in one day.

I wonder if I'm on my pat malone there.

                • I don’t mind rain but not on an already freezing cold day or on a weekend day. But it does mean I’m now going to cook a nice sweet beef curry in the slow cooker. But I guess that should be a story for another thread.

It does make one feel like cooking something hearty and warming doesn’t it. Just finished watching Cocaine Bear with the kids and they have just gone upstairs to cook me an apple crumble for desert tonight. If this is what I get when it’s cold and wet bring on winter!

I saw it was twelve degrees here at 3pm Strangely enough it did not really feel that cold and I was in shorts albeit with a jumper on. Perhaps it was because I was out in the cold and rain in the morning running around refereeing

I don't mind rain either but when you get constant rain for a while and can't open windows to air the place and the mould starts to build up, thats when i don't like rain.Perfect weather today for a slow cooked curry, stew or lamb shanks. I was thinking about a roast today but our dining table is out being sanded back and restored so made a risotto which is easy lap food.

12 degrees is pretty cold for Sydney though. Especially at this time of year.

I wore shorts today when i went out of the house but had a hoodie on over my t shirt, it was only to drive down to Metro to get a couple of things for dinner so wasn't out in the open for very long. Rain hitting the window now as i type this.

Mould is a pain to keep away in moist conditions. The slow cooked beef curry was good. The only negative was the cost of beef chuck steak these days, allegedly for a locked everyday ‘low’ price too.
