Absolutely Fabulous, Morecambe and Wise and Till Death Us Do Part were also great.
Interesting fact re: Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em. Michael Crawford did almost all (if not all) his own stunts. Another great British comedy too. And as someone else pointed out, an excellent musician as well - a very talented artist."Do you expect me to talk"? "No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die".

For those who want to watch Benny Hill, I found 55 episodes on youtube. We all watched it back in the day..we only had 2 channels growing up in the bush....the opening Thames logo was a big part of my childhood as all the shows came from UK..apart from Bellbird..and number 96...

You know its the sign of a good show when decades later you are still quoting lines from it and people know exactly what you are talking about. Seinfeld was great for that also..a lot of us bonded in our virtual 'work office' during Covid over our love of that show..that's always an ice breaker for team bonding when you are trying to get a group of people together to work as a team. It made me really happy working with people half my age who knew all about Seinfeld and would just as happily quote the lines as often as me.
I'm sure Dad used to watch Morecambe & Wise. I also liked Man About The House which was a spin off from George & Mildred I think...again the Thames logo
