I bought both volumes and then the best of. I remember I did actually get one for free because Triple M had an amnesty on embarrassing CD's if you took them to HMV Pitt St Mall when they were broadcasting one morning when I was working in Martin Place. So I turned up with a great Daryl Braithwaite CD but the cover photo was just awful and did not do him and his good looks justice at all. The guy collecting the CD's just cracked up at poor Daryl..but I got my CD. I bought the others anyway because of Sony Music donating all the funds to the childrens' hospitals. Yes a lot of them are hilarious and some artists took it seriously and now often keep performing the songs they were challenged with.

MR, what did you think of Neil Finn covering Billie Jean?

Speaking of Michael Jackson, I never did learn all the words to Don't Stop Til You Get Enough..I thought he was singing about bus stops....it's keep on with the force...

Slightly OT, they had the Running Up The Hill tribute to Kate Bush at Sydney Park yesterday, saw a couple of Kate Bush dress ups while we were waiting for the bus and also some getting off the train at St Peters station when we heading to the Swans. Looks like it would have been fun and would have gone if we weren't going to the Swans.

LOL..I nearly emailed you that article myself as I saw it was at Sydney Park..looks like great fun and good on them for going out and enjoying themselves after Covid.

.and you don't want to hear James singing Delilah, also for the Musical Challenge...he came up a lot on all my devices yesterday..he must have know we were talking about him..

I wanted to fling on something red and go join them...next year remind me! I'm always on leave at this time of year because it's Bank Holiday weekend and it's not hot at this time of year so I won't faint..

Sorry didn't want to be so crass in the last post but a lot of people reckon Bjorn sung that line.

'Stairway to Heaven' by Led Zeppelin

                          - Misheard: “There’s a wino down the road”
                          - Correct: “And as we wind on down the road”

I still prefer the incorrect one...

The end of Smells Like Teen Spirit:

                            A denial, a denial, a denial, a denial, a denial

or "bloody nylons" if you hate wearing pantyhose.....blame Triple M for that one..

To tell you the truth I’d actually forgotten about that song by Neil and the CD until you posted it. I haven’t listened to it for a long time, probably the year it came out. I just remember there were a few songs on there that were hilarious and I remember the comments about James Reyne which really cracked us up. I’ll have to listen to it again now. We also bought the Andrew Denton Stairways To Heaven, but all I can think of with that now is Rolf Harris.
