So it did Horrie, remiss of me to forget Archie.
I watched him at the Annandale Hotel in the 90s.

Yep three when you add Archie Roach who also sadly passed away a little while ago.

I think my 2 favourite Olivia songs are Xanadu and Twist of Fate.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

I just read a message from the girl who made that Olivia birthday card I sent you.....I don't know what possessed me to choose that card this year for you but I'm very glad I did...it's downhill from here.....I still can't stop listening to the Grease soundtrack...but the happy ones now..:

Instead of starting a new thread - this will be of interest to many who enjoyed ONJ not only for her music but for the person she was.

Thank you Mr Bond. Today is going to be a joy to watch but also hard at the same time. I'm just going to watch it in peace and quiet. I hope those who are also tuning in enjoy the service.
Have a lovely and beautiful week.

I'm in tears already this afternoon reading some articles. Something Jack's Fur Coat said when Queen Elizabeth passed away struck me. About how the world is now a little less good. Sure feels like it. With true, gracious, respectful ladies like Judith Durham, Olivia and her majesty passing so soon of one another makes me very very sad.

Here is Olivia's episode of This Is Your Life from 2004

Myself and a few others were talking about how impressive Olivia's husband John is. What a blessing he has been. It was very comforting to see her with such a deeply spiritual man by her side. A truely gifted man in his own right also. Just goes to show you that sometimes it's worth waiting for the right person to come along, no matter what age.
