  • Those fishermen... are they on the right side of history?

My fishing mates disagree with everything on johnmenadue.com and prefer to avoid politics where possible. Right side of history? DISCUSS...

There’s no fish left bro. And the ones that are left are full of plastic. Or mercury.

Wouldn't say drunk but I've had a few cattleman's lagers, yes (just finished patching & re-painting our living room after the insulation dudes drilled holes all through it so figured I deserved a coldie). You tried Cattleman's yet BTW?

If you disagree with me then I'm looking for at least 7,000 words, 20 references and full AGLC3 referencing. Otherwise, anecdotes/humour will be okay

If you've had a few Cattleman's lagers then a drunken rant will receive bonus marks.

Gonna have to have a few more before I decide.

It's a decent lager though... I ordered a case for about $60 all up (including shipping) and wasn't disappointed.

Would say it's better than a New, XXXX, VB, Toohey's...etc and on par with the 'nicer' brands.

IMO the quality of beers caps out at some point and the fact I can get a case of most solid beers for about $50 (no $10 shipping) means I'm paying a small tax there for no real gain. Might have to find a store that stocks it going forward. One of my locals does just about every craft beer (plus Bloke in a Bar - which is EVERYWHERE now!!!), so I might be able to convince them to do a buy-up.

Here's some of the fish I had the other day (and a seaside cafe where my fishermen friends always take me):

Avoiding politics is a wonderful idea. If anyone hasn’t already worked it out the majority politicians leaders don’t give a flying Fcuk about the ordinary citizen. They are only interested in themselves we mean nothing up them

what you get is what you got
Cause when they own the information
they can bend it all they want
