I believe that vaccination is a personal choice and each and everyone of us can and should make an informed decision about what is best for our health.

I don't believe people should be lampooned for refusing a vaccine just as I don't believe people should be lampooned for taking a vaccine.

Getting vaxxed and staying up to date with being vaxxed is the key to retaining the common freedoms that were put on hold at the height of the pandemic and the results of being vaxxed around the world show they are effective.

They have also made a massive difference to the sufferance endured by those who have had to go through it. Imagine the death rate and hospitalisations if people had if listened to arguments like yours early on. It would be terrible trying to get into a hospital if you needed to if the place was at breaking point thanks to covid.

The considerate people did the right thing and then there are those who still try to discredit them for doing so.

Really this is so late 2021 I’m doing all the things now I was doing two years ago I’ve no comment on your claims of success apart from the case numbers and deaths in this country since vaccination was taken up are embarrassing for such a comment I only wish I could make money off such a product that doesn’t stop transmission but supposedly makes you less sick, yet close to ninety percent of the deaths have had two or more shots. Not to mention the highest vaccinated countries have the highest infection rate but some of the lowest have the lowest infection rate

Oh and for the record I’ve never discredited anyone for their personal choice one way or another on this. You and quite a few others though have continually done just that with yourself even starting this thread doing just that

It's ALWAYS been a 'personal choice' to get vaccinated... but it's one of those 'personal choices' that the vast majority of us choose to make. I mean nobody's forcing you to make other choices for the benefit of your health like having a shower, washing your hands with soap, wiping your butt and brushing your teeth. Sometimes there are 'decisions' in life that make perfect sense and those who oppose them are just being obtuse.

I mean I'm vaccinated and wear a mask everywhere (have got one on right now... a fancy, colourful one that I bought in Japan... I've got good masks and they're now part of my fashion!) However, I'm not taking every farking chance possible to grandstand about it and dominate social discourse with how farking annoying it is to (for example) see openly unmasked, unvaccinated people coughing their lungs out on buses. COVID aside, the majority (all!) of these people are just farking annoying because they're loud, have awkward opinions (that are inconsistent with the broader social contract) and they won't shut the fark up, or respect that I probably think they're full of shyte (but won't say it vocally, in the way that they're frigging rambling at me and causing all sorts of drama!!!)

I've had to stop using a local business because the owner ALWAYS takes the opportunity to ramble on about his COVID conspiracy theories (for hours - NON STOP!!!) Like blaaaah blah blah no the media is wrong... the vaccines don't work... they kill you... COVID is all a scam...etc. OMG!!! I have better things to do with my life. I pity such people as they waste so much frigging time and brainpower complaining about such shyte whereas I just get my vaccine, wear my mask, stay at home when I'm sick and focus on LIFE instead (i.e. my wife and kids rather than cooking up conspiracies and reading shyte 'between the lines' that simply isn't there).

10 million infection in Australia since the vaccine came out, with this country and NZ who have some of the highest rates of vaccination in the world have the highest infection rates. Well over 80 percent of the deaths in this country since that time have had two or more shots. Those are facts Ism, now you and a few others may not like them but they are. Facts are that vaccines work. Nothing is foolproof but they are better than nothing at all. You can thank the majority of us for doing our part to keep your gym open.
