I don’t take b&w sides in these threads as my opinions are more grey. I’ve explained this repeatedly here. I hate the US for its hypocrisy and holier than thou attitude on a number of things it says and does / has done. I dislike Putin’s so called form of ‘democracy’ and control. In a true democracy the same leader rarely stays in power for as long as Putin has. I choose capitalism over communism though the former is certainly not perfect. I do believe we need to work and improve our relationship with China as it is in Australia’s best interest to do so. This does not make me anti australia as I am putting Australia first when I say this. My opinions are balanced. I am not all out anti US or all out pro Yankee. This is a complex issue and no side is 100 % correct.

None of the above makes me a sheeple or overly impressionable / naive or a lapdog lovestruck schoolgirl who is an airhead more interested in her hairdo!!

I have no problem with this thread being here so long as it doesn’t get personal. That does not make me a sycophant or apologist to alleged trolls.

There comes a time when I’ve said all I can say on a particular topic and repeating myself over and over achieves nothing as the audience isn’t listening.
