I was never on the wall. What was it anyway, an official forum or just a random one that people migrated from?

It was the official forum on the Roosters website.
It's demise was related to litigation. First they made it pay for use , then scrapped it. We're lucky Chris and others started this forum, which is better anyway.
I was on the wall from season 2000. The only posters I can recall from then who is still active is Trewhella and the Brain. JT was around since then and is still sadly missed.

I was on the wall sometime in 2000 as i remember chatting to Socrates and someone else about my Europe trip and going to Greece.

It was free, the way they made you pay to use it later, was to buy a roosters membership regardless of the price, think it was to stop trolling.
