That was an epic finish and great to see the swans back in a grand final. The Rules finals have had some nail-biting contests whilst most of the league ones have been one sided.
Swans are underdogs but they are a good chance if the young blokes can hold their nerves.

Hope Sydney win. But I think Geelong will be too good.

Hope Cowboys win but I think Penrith or Souths will be too good.

Robbie Williams was great. Come on the Swans.

Such a disappointing game so far.

Thought Geelong would be to strong but that was ridiculously hot form from them in the first quarter, just shut the Swans out completely, more even second quarter but the damage was done in that first quarter from the Cats.

Yep, the Swans will have to put in an amazing 3rd quarter to get back into it. It is the premiership quarter as they say, but I feel Geelong is just too good.

Unfortunately Geelongs 3rd quarter was even better than their 1st quarter.

Biggest AFL Grand Final win is 139 points - Geelong Cats 163 vs Port Adelaide 44

                      Second is 96 - Hawthorn 152 vs Melbourne 56

Third is 89 - Richmond 114 vs GWS Giants 25\

                      4th - 83 - Hawthorne 140 vs Essendon 57

                      5th - 81 - Geelong 133 vs Sydney 52

At least the Swans have avoided the lowest grand final score by a losing team - 25 by GWS Giants vs Richmond 114

Coincidentally GWS Giants in their AFL GF loss to Mighty Richmond played an injured Jeremy Cameron (now playing for Geelong ) - the Swans played an injured Sam Reid

GWS have never really recovered from that GF loss

Will the Swans bounce back ?

Dane Rampe speech in defeat was truly good.
Great season from the Swans that fell short, Geelong way to good on the big day. despite the heavy loss to the Swans it was good to see a good clean game without any spite.

Horrie what's your take on Buddy and signing for another year. Obviously has been a great player, but now?

Hmmm yes it is interesting Jack, he did have a good year overall and not making any excuses but last week against Collingwood it did look like he was carrying an injury, today i think even if there was 20 Buddy's on the field the result would have been the same, Geelong just strangled Sydney out of the game. I'm glad Buddy signed on for another but unfortunately today was his third GF loss in Sydney colours.

Yeah thanks mate and comiz for today, it was surprisingly one sided.

I know you follow it pretty closely and I know others who do who were divided on Buddy these days especially signing on again. I dont follow it closely so was interested in your thoughts.
