It's for poetry but with tangents. "Dulce et Decorum" is a political poem reminding us that war is nothing that we might ever want.He even references the meatheads of the time at the end.
How about not allying with anyone? Or best option is"security within Asia" as Keating insists but I'd suggest that we're far too racist for that.. We could live in splendid isolation down here, oceans away from any danger. Even Izzie's mates, the Japs didn't have us on the agenda, too hard. WTF is "senpai" anyway - a craft beer, a new line of 4&20?
MR as commendable as your limerick is, "diatribes" throws the last line out. Try "views" or some other single syllable. Just sayin' is all.

Senpai is Japanese. It’s similar to sensei but not quite. Sensei is a teacher, whereas senpai is someone you consider to have higher skills than yourself in a particular field. Ism was being very nice.

There once was a player named Braith
In whom not many fans had faith
But then one day
He put a field goal away
And us in the Chookpen went Yay!

There was an old bag who worked for Westpac
who desperately craved to feel a man’s ball sack
she wanted it so much
to bang hard on her crutch
She’d even take it from a man named Jack
