Is it just me or is the Sunday Roast a piece of shit now days. I miss the dumb comments from Vossy, Gus, MG and TK with other cameos. Tim Gilbert is boring as shit.

Poor old Vossy made an off the cuff comment about the Bronzed statue of Rabbits Warren in his home town & Hadley has made it his personal business to bring Vossy down.

I did notice Voss did the Wankos game on Fri night. Maybe Gheeeey Hadley isn't very well like north of the border???

And ROC, what about Fletchaaah, he's a breath of fresh air, very amusing??? I agree with the host, a poor mans Vossy. Gus and MG are a loss also IMO.

Andrew Voss has been dumped by Channel Nine with the network dropping him from Friday Night footy call and The Sunday Roast to cover the Queensland Cup.

"To see the Roast without Andrew Voss, it just isn't the same," his former co-host on the show Mark 'MG' Geyer told the Triple M Sydney's Grill Team.

MG continued "a lot of people don't like him. He rubs people up the wrong way but he loves his footy. It's his baby."

With no official statement forthcoming from Channel Nine, footy fans alike can only wonder about Vossy's absence.

Speculation arose after Ray Hadley was the second caller behind Ray 'Rabs' Warren for the Broncos Vs Cowboys Friday night footy game.

The rumour mill then went into overdrive when Vossy failed to appear on the 'The Sunday Roast' with his popular segment 'Stuff That You May Have Missed' being given to Darryl Brohman.

Instead Vossy was in Wynnum, Brisbane preparing to call the Round 1 Queensland Cup Game.

Vossy took to Twitter to explain his absence "Thanks for the support everyone. I am just a footy fan who has had the best job in the world. The Roast was huge fun for the last 6yrs."

I'd rather be an intelligent (and witty) person that some people hate than a dumbarsed lickspittle.

I always skip the Hadley game on Nine. Andrew Moore's calling on 2gb makes him look like a hack anyway.

Good one John... He was however doing the sports news on the 11 am bulletin and he did call the broncos v dragons game on friday.

Regarding Hadley, all my friends agree that hearing him call on TV is like hearing him on radio. Sometimes he provides too much info but some may like that.

Frank Hyde used to give lots of info out of respect for his vision impaired listeners. He wanted them to feel like they were there at the game with him. I was so excited to see the Sunday Roast and the Sunday Footy Show broadcast down here, especially after a win for us, that I didn't even care who was hosting.

Yeh I don't bother even watching it anymore.

Then later in the day you can hang around to watch the 2 hours of adds with some footy thrown in between them.
