I'm in Bangkok now and just went for a 20km night run around a bunch of random streets, parks and overpasses (lotsa steps - got some decent altitude going).

Not sure where this thread's at but presumably Paddo's still yet to provide any evidence outside John Menadue [daaat caaaaaarm] for this latest CIA conspiracy.

PS - I think weed's legal here now coz I've seen lotsa daggy white people bum puffing this weird smelling stuff (while everybody looks at them weirdly going) and then coughing their lungs out, while looking all embarrassed as my son's asking 'why do they smoke if it smells bad and makes them cough like an idiot?' with me responding 'well it's a little bit like how people get stupid looking tattoos... mostly because they think they're gonna look tougher / cooler. I'm happy being a nerd and our family's fortunate enough to have slightly better genes than most when it comes to looks/height/athleticism [though Manu and Sua'ali'i put us to shame]'. Paeddo... can't say your dirty habit's on my bucket list, bro. Side note, have you ever though about getting tattoos of a commie flag, Karl Marx, Gough Whitlam, John Menadue, Vlad Putin and Mah Booooi Xi Jinping? You'd look tough brah!

Nice of you to keep us informed about your latest family "indulgence" though in the light of a few prior claims I have my doubts. Bangkok? Never got a tattoo. On the mean streets of Paddo back in the day, tatts were for mugs - they made it easy for police, and for anyone else, to identify you. The other reason was that sailors sported them and mugging "matelots" on the weekend was a favorite sport. Fellas could hardly wait for a US Cruiser to visit.

Speaking of tatts Eddie, don't young women do some awful things to themselves tatt-wise? I despair of beautiful girls with the front of both legs done and the rest. And it's not just the young ones, I see oldies (though they are probably in their 40s) at the supermarket down here (Moss Vale) with faded and illegible texts on arms and backs.
Breast implants are another thing. Never seen a good pair yet. Go to the face and more horrors await No not tatts this time, those tiny noses that all look the same, done by someone with nil aesthetic sensibility whatsoever.

I'm no misogynist, I love female unknowability and their competence. Girls now perform better in all areas of the HSC. I've worked in girls' high schools and fondly noted how, in lunch break, they form groups clumped all round, in which they learn co-operation and the importance of showing sensitivity to one another. Most males never serve that apprenticeship and they take that deficiency into marriages if they don't have sisters.

But why are some so self loathing? They're outliers mostly I suspect but even so media and celebrity have a lot to answer for. Just sayin' is all.
