Happy New Beer to all the true believers on the Pen.

Wishing for a cleaner Off Topic section for this year . Its been largely dominated by the Souths squatter troll fella sadly for much of last year...see the topics list.

I've enjoyed the common-sense rebukes of the dope from the King, Ism, Random etc. but its like taking candy from a bub. Blind ideology wilts meekly when confronted with facts every time.

We don't need to hear what's on his mind and use this as his personal diary/playground. He surely can find better outlets than a rival fan footy forum to tell his story to the same 6 people again and again. Such mania deserves a bigger audience.

If the mods continue to allow him to wield recklessly unfettered, my impassioned plea to the true supporters on here is to ignore it and focus on the other great topics here...songs, health and well being, travel, food etc. He will then just die on the vine, and move elsewhere.

Bring on 2023.

I enjoy his posts. Paddo Colt is breaking no forum rules whatsoever. Personally the ones who shit me are those who try to control what others post on here. You could join your good friend would say and has done If you don’t like it you can always leave.

You're right. I've gotta be careful what I say but IMO this whole muddle needs some sorta circuit breaker (possibly just me ignoring it and focussing on other lines of discussion).

Totally agree. I hope you can manage to do that Horrie and 2023 brings better news health wise. The years just roll by so fast these days. I guess it’s a sign of getting older.

As for Paddo, all his threads have the same underlying theme. If posters want to engage with him on his topics, I don’t have a problem with that as he does make the effort to post in the off topic section these days. I myself however, have lost a lot of interest as there’s only so many ways I can keep making the same points.

Thanks mate and i hope the work situation comes good for you too.Yes i definitely want a better year health wise, my doctor did comment to me that i had gone from being reasonably healthy in all the years i have been going to him till last year turning to mush.

Yes world peace and the end of poverty would be great but unfortunately for every day i have been alive there has not been a day of peace on this planet and it seems to be getting worse and worse, a bit like history repeating itself again and again and again. I cannot see it ever happening in our life times

I’m not sure but I don’t like it much. I read somewhere that’s it’s to do with how many memories we have as we get older and the fact we are doing the same things over again that we’ve done for many years before. This gives us the perception that time is going faster. Something like that anyway lol.

Interesting I’ve gone back through the last 5 pages PC has started 7 threads. There is also another poster who has left in an ungracious manner who has tried to dominate this section and what people post or even who they quote ( whom all they had to do for their fragile mind was take a break at the end of the footy season like they said they were going to ) who also has 7.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed all of PCS threads and responses that were forthcoming. Only those who have narrow and weak minds object to ideology based discussions.
