For reason such as monetary policy tightening, economic uncertainty simply a desire to help out, carious people take-on a side hustle.
I recently got a gig at my son's pool (teaching kids' classes) as they were short on coaches and I wanted to help out. While I'm more of a runner, I originally trained as a PE reacher so am finding there's some cross-over in terms of the skillset. Also, it's quite rewarding seeing kids pickup skills in the pool.
On a personal note I had a cr@ppy intro to the pool... they basically threw me into a wavy beach pool at Austinmer where I couldn't touch the bottom. As soon as I started flowting, some d!ck held my head under the water aged 4 or 5 (it was beach swimming and I had no goggles) so it's good seeing kids gain confidence in a safer environment.
Anyway this has been rewarding and I get some extra beer money from it, so thought I'd share. What are some of your side hustles? Be interested to hear...
