  • R.I.P. Doug Mulray

He used to make me laugh in the morning back in the 80's.
    Only 71.

I don’t know a lot about him Eddie and never really listened to him but do know of him of course. Wasn’t there an incident where he upset Packer who called up and demanded a show be taken off air immediately? 71 again is way too young. I seem to be saying that a lot lately. RIP.

The incident was on his telly show, Packer didn't like the content.
Of course he's much more remembered for breakfast radio.

I thought that was him. Yes I knew he was a radio announcer but I don’t think he was ever on the stations I had access to over the years which is why I’ve never listened to him.

Very sad news indeed. Grew up with this legend on Tripple M, 2SM and 2WS.

I’m interested to hear Sally’s views on the great man.

It was a one off show called 'Australia's naughtiest home videos'. I was watching it at the time. It wasn't so much the videos but Dougies commentary. They went to an ad break mid way through the show and it never came back on.
On a side note I remember Roland Rollerdoor from Roland Rollerdoor's roller doors (you read that correctly) on Dougies breakfast show.
