Oh I loved The Flintstones. How about Kimba The White Lion? I remember loving that when I was in primary school.

Its funny, when i would get home from school Win 4 in Wollongong would have The Flintstones on and then i think it was ch 10 would have it on later, we could pick up Win 4 where we lived in Paddington, we could also pick up NBN 3 Newcastle also. I was always confused though because Win 4 would show a different start to the Flintstones and ch 10 would have the usual Meet The Flintstones opening, What i learnt later on season 1 originally had a different opening and closing titles but once the popular Meet The Flintstones became popular they changed the earlier seasons titles to the more popular Meet the Flintstones song.

I did watch Kimba the White Lion, i did think he was a bit to cutesy and goody two shoes some times when i was younger but the opening credits and song when Kimba and the other African animals are pounding through the jungle is awesome animation.

Yes you’re right Kimba was definitely a bit too goody goody, but for an 8-10 yo girl he was oh so cute haha. Also, I think my favourite part was the opening theme like you said. I loved the song and the animation that went with it.
