Was my favourite show too Big Dog. A couple of years ago I bought the Thunderbirds box set and watched every episode; awesome TV.
This has to be one of the best SciFi shows ever and in my humble opinion Gerry Anderson's masterpiece. And the women with purple hair were strangely very sexy! https://youtu.be/j2PoXfZdYVU
the adventures of Superman
Batman
Phantom agents
samurai
roller derby
championship wrestling
Homicide
division 4
thunderbirds
captain scarlet
addams fami;ly
the munsters
Doctor Who (still watching)
mighty mightor
milton the monster
groovy ghoulies
Herculoids
and a plethora of others (mostly animated)
I was into anything remotely science fiction. Dr Who, Lost in Space, Star Trek, UFO etc. Can you believe this one created by Gerry Anderson ( of Thunderbirds fame) was actually a kids show. I loved it!
I absolutely loved Lost in Space even though I never have watched any other science fiction. There was something about the characters that made it really special. Maybe the appeal for me was a family in it, rather that something on the scary side. I also loved The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Rocky & Bullwinkle, The Brady Bunch, The Wombles, Charlies Angels and Batman & Robin with Adam West.
Who else remembers The Yellow House? That was a big favourite and I still know the words to the song..
I just looked it up and Ronnie Burns was the host...
