  • Mini v Brett Stewart - SOO

Looking at Stewart's performance tonight, i thought he was hardly in it and in those QLD try was no where to be seen. he often looked disinterested. I think Mini would have done a better job had he played tonight.

cmon guys. Mini's time in that arena is over. The man himself might not admit it, but his kick returns just lack gusto. How many times do u see him start running sideways on tackle one, only to get dragged sideways and lose all momentum from the get-go? too many.

Stewart's kick returns were pretty good. His positioning obviously had some work to do

Yes I agree. Mini would be safe but would offer sweet F.a in attack, I still think Dugan is the man for the job

          I totally agree.

I thought overall our backs were very good...they looked very dangerous and had a few sparks of brilliance. Jennings and Hayne up the left side were dangerous all game and I thought were among our best players. Morris defended well against Inglis (well as good as you can). And Uate had a good game in attack, although his positional play in defence wasnt great. Pearce played a very solid game. Carney had a bit of a shocker, but is a freak and will bounce back next game.

Stewart although safe under the high ball never really offered anything in attack. He didnt have an impact on the game and I think is out of his league when up against slater, inglis etc. Saying that I think Mini would have the same issues as Stewart. I dont think Mini woul dreally offer anything in attack. Id probably use Dugan, he has a bit more flare than Stewart/Mini.

However, saying that I thought NSW played really well and they should probably stick with the same team!!

overall i agree, my real concern is casrneys composure, he really does seem to choke at big ones?

I'm hoping that this is part of his immaturity.
Gotta stick with him at this stage (unless you want Braith to take over?) cause if he fires off a big game he will be the gamebreaker.
