  • Monday night football - should it be kept or scrapped

In my thread where I set up a poll asking what was the best time to watch NRL, the only option that got no votes was Monday nights. Do you think Monday night football should be kept or scrapped?

          I like MNF.
I think its a good way to start the working week. Sitting back and enjoying a nice meal watching a game of footy.
Yes it is a pain to get to the game on a Monday night, not to mention getting home if you have a few cleansing ales, but I think it is a good TV spectacle.

I was in LA before Christmas and went to a pub to watch MNF. It was huuuuge. The place was packed from 530pm until about 11pm.
I would love our game to make MNF the same but we just don't have population.

I would like to keep MNF mainly for something to watch on a Monday night. But i still believe the best football to watch is on a dry Saturday, Sunday afternoon.

MNF is the largest rated game for television.

like it or not, it will not be going anytime soon.

Can't stand MNF and would be happy to see the back of it for Sunday afternoon games.
