Sure Carney's kicking was poor...
But I think the halves from both teams were pretty invisible?

IMO it was one of those games where the forwards just kept hitting it up (from both teams.)

Then... who knows? 2 Tough video ref decisions... ours was disallowed, theirs wasn't.

Felt a lot like a regular Rooster's game. I've grown to expect that unless you've got the better depth of players, you tend to not only lose, but have your moments of glory snatched away from you by the refs unfairly every week.

Thats the issue I had with the send off....what comes first the chicken or the egg? Would Jennings have come charging in if those 7 QWlders hadn't? Why was he singled out? Was it because his punch landed?

In relation to the brawl how about you all take your NSW glasses off.

Matt Scott starts to get up after the penalty was blown, and is shoved in the head by Greg Bird.

Scott retaliates by throwing the ball and hitting Bird in the Head, Bird takes offence and then decides to kick things off.

Up to that point it was your regular State of Origin fight, but the big superman, king hit by Jennings was a total dog act and he deserved to be sent to the bin.

Imagine if Jennings did the same thing to a Roosters player in an NRL game, you would be baying for his blood and rightly so.

Then Bird has the audacity to sook to the ref once the fight broke up that Scott threw the ball at his head, "well dickhead, if you didn't shove him as he was getting up none of that would have happened").

And Boyd did it after his first try also but that cat has a habbit of it so it must be ok.

About the Jennings sin bin... What a load of shit. You have the worst serial '3rd man in' in the comp, Thaiday, in there AGAIN (and yes he was throwing them) and NOTHING!

That game was a mess and rather boring for the first 20. NSW didnt help themselves but they didnt get any help either. QLD certainly did tho.

If it were 2010 Carney would have sparked I remember in 2010 when Carney was the second most accurate kicker behind Gordon. He kicked like JT now he misses alot of kicks but Maloney plays a very similar style so here's no point getting him in. I wish we had a Benji Marshall/Shaun Johnson type player one that inspires. Pearce had a shaky start but impressed me with his high kicks. Did anyone see that flick pass to Hayne, it was like that Quade Cooper one?
Carney also debuted for Australia and you didn't mention that he played badly there as well!!!
In 2010 it was our forwards tha let us down and let in soft tries and couldn't execute their chances
