It said 400k on Zero Tackle he was our second highest payed player after Pearce
I reckon at Easts he was around 310k
He wasn't always playing as badly as he is now unbelievably he was once our marquee player back in 08 he got chosen for origin and got players player of the year. In 07 he was nominated for 5/8 of the year. Finch on the other hand kicked a field goal in the final on the first when close to the tryline

I always cheer for Souths against Wests in the heritage round and yes, I do feel ill afterwards. Wests are the flukiest team alive, media darlings and certainly not my second favourite team as per the urban myth about them in certain circles. That semi-final win against them in 2010 was truly satisfying and being able to witness it live (and seeing myself on the youtube footage as well ) was a privilege. It was truly one of the best moments I've seen in the 40 years of watching NRL. I only dislike Melbourne more.

I said the same the other night during the Canterbury game. I could hear Braith yapping from Melbourne, but it was warranted. Someone at work today asked me to follow the Richmond Tigers and I told him I don't do Tigers of any variety. My sister and I watched a Castleford match whilst we were in London and we both agreed Tigers teams are dirty the world over!

I may have to eat some humble pie with them.

Even though all of the teams they have beaten are not in the 8 except for the Cowboys. They play the Storm Friday night coming 2 days after SOO 2, then they play us then Newcastle. Only 1 of the 3 are in the 8, lets see if they can beat the team in the 8?

One of my favourite pastimes is watching Wests fans celebrate too early! Much like Essendon fans down here. They were all bragging on Friday how they were going to whip the Melbourne Demons who haven't won a game all season..oh dear..like Seinfeld's cabbie says, "Smug is not a good quality!"..
