In my opinion, there should be two potential team balances.

      a) Gallen at prop + utility

      1. Stewart
      2. Hayne
      3. Jennings
      4. Morris
      5. Uate
      6. Carney
      7. Pearce
      8. Gallen
      9. Farah
      10. Tamou
      11. Lewis
      12. Stewart
      13. Bird

      14. Buhrer (only there in the absence of Gidley)
      15. Watmough
      16. Creagh (only there in the absence of Williams and Sims)
      17. Merrin

      b) Gallen at lock + extra prop

      1. Stewart
      2. Hayne
      3. Jennings
      4. Morris
      5. Uate
      6. Carney
      7. Pearce
      8. Grant/Galloway/Woods/Learoyd-Lahrs (looks like they went for Grant for this one)
      9. Farah
      10. Tamou
      11. Lewis
      12. Stewart
      13. Gallen

      14. Bird
      15. Watmough
      16. Creagh (only there in the absence of Williams and Sims)
      17. Merrin

My issues with the team named:

      - I would prefer Lewis starting over Bird, as Lewis's combination with Jennings on the left fringe is vital to the attacking structure
      - Watmough should have been there in Game 1, Creagh didn't deserve that spot but with Williams out I don't mind Creagh's power running in the mix
      - Morris hasn't won me over yet, I don't rate him that highly and NSW is suffering badly from Lyon making himself unavailable in representative football (his combination with Stewart + Uate suffering from poor service)

The only thing we had going for us last game was our speed around the ruck with a more mobile pack. Why change now?

Whatnow is a liability. Too old, injury clouded and a champion at giving away penalties.

Creagh offers nothing at SOO level.

              Chook.

                Whats everyones obbsession with Woods.
Hes good but aint ready for origin id rather Hinchcliffe.
Is it because hes playing in a club with a big streak.
If we had Wests Tigers draw wed be in the top 4
Its like the people who set out the draw set it out to Wests advantage.
The have a string of Panthers, Titans, Eels, Warriors, Cowboys, Raiders and Melbourne before origin time.
Ok Cowboys and Warriors are the only good sides and obviously Melbourne but right before Origin period?
Last year they versed Broncos before origin period aswell and they had a bye just before versing the Cowboys.
Why cant we have a draw like that I hope one day we become the NRL and media darlings like the Tigers. I hope they choke in the finals again to stick it up Rothfields, the bookies and the NRLs ass!
The Tigers are likely to get 9 or 10 in a row but that'll end come the finals

Agreed I wish they picked Tariq Sims before he got injured Creagh?
                  What were the thinking.
Oh and they also put Lewis on he bench.

Lewis on the bench is fine, covers a lot of positions.
They are going with a very inexperienced front row, in form yes, but severly lacking experience.

                    Chook.

And thats why we shouldnt pick Aaron Woods.
Id rather had Gallen prop Lewis lock

How Creagh got picked over Sims is mind boggling. Creagh is one of the most overrated SOO players I've seen in a lifetime. How his name wasnt marked off the list after his fairy-like backtracking a few years ago is beyond me.

Team is pretty good. They stuck with most. This utility thing we really don't need one. We have Bird, Lewis an Hayne even Glen Stewart. These guys can cover centers to five eight to full back. There's no doubt Robbie can play 80 minutes so why have a utility. Woods would of got my nod but at least they went for another prop as the needed one. I think the team is stronger an I'm sure Queensland would fear Watmough over Buherer!

The Tigers run of form coincides with Woods and Galloway playing long minutes and absolutely dominating, not the other way round. He's a gun and would've been a much better selection than Grant.
