I think Gus would have believed in the comments he was making, after all he has a vested interest in getting the pokie legislation changed now that he runs a footy club.

You don't think that he has spoken to the board at the Panthers Leagues Club about the effect pokie reform will have on the grant that the footy club will receive?

What about the idiocy of the legislation.
Mandatory pre commit to a pokie, bugger that, I'll do all my cash on my smartphone over the net with some bloke in the NT.
It's fundamentally flawed legislation to buy the vote of Wilkie.
The legislation that should be passed is that gambling advertising should be restricted in the same manner as gaspers and grog. kids watching footy and being bombarded with gambling advertising is a future recipe for disaster.

nice post,i am with you on gambling advertising be restricted.i find it punishing when watching the football with all the cuts to the latest odds and subliminal gambling comments by the commmentary. this whole centrebet partnership could be a recipe for disaster in more ways than one.front page of the telecrap after origin headline was the state was going to legislate up to the minute gambling with a pic of origin.that result via the so called " try" decision was on the nose.stinks!
