Definately RWB, I would certainly need an executive assistant , getting rid of the
Cheating Storms would be 1st on the agenda followed by the vermin & the Bears
would be back & have 1st dibs on all players except the Roosters & any we might
want, the rest of the teams can have the scraps.

I hope he has a couple of months break & lands himself a few cushy board positions, he did a good job in an almost impossible position, being caught between 2 masters is never easy to negotiate.

Hey RWB did you go to Rose Bay Public School as a nipper?
No Arty, I grew up in Warwick QLD, home town of Wayne Bennett and moved to Sydney in 1988...I didn't move to Rose Bay until 2002...a VERY good year.

I'd leave Souths even just for the entertainment value. Sheer comic relief etc

Yeah, you're right we do need someone there to laugh at, because the Dragqueens are really
bad sports, sheesh I thought they were bad when I lived in the St.George area but they are
worse down in Wollongong, IF they win the next day everyone's out with the Red V if they loose
            everyone hides, no-one speaks.lol

Collingwood fans do that down here! I wear my Easts gear regardless.

the game can finally move on past the news limited connection....

most likely to some place where tickets to round games cost $50 and jerseys $300. Foxtel double the price and even more ads on free to air Rugby league.
do you have any evidence of that happening in sydney? or did u think it was fun just to make it up. (some tickets in QLD have always been $50+ anyway)

of course there will always be ads on free to air rugby league. what did you expect? that the game is being shown for free? If there are a couple of more ads shown in between stoppages and it gets the game more money, i'm all for it

I don't care about the ad breaks either. I'm just grateful I can watch the games in Melbourne on GEM at the same time as NSW and also get to watch The Sunday Footy Show and The Sunday Roast.

Wow I wouldn't have picked you for a QLDer, who do you follow in SOO? 2002 was a truly great year for me too, my son & first borns' birth year & a winning GF year, I really should stock up my cellar with some more 2002's!

My son and first born was born in 2002 as well. He was due on Oct 10 - 4 days after the GF. I was so excited I thought I would go into labour there and then! I always say he brought the Roosters good luck that year and he is now a roosters supporter himself! RWB I never picked you as a QLDer either. Does this mean you support those horrible Maroons in SOO??

Hey mighty, my boy was born pre-season in February 2002, so I was sure we were going to have a great year & he & my little girl, who was born in December 2004 are massive Easts fans, of course I wouldn't have had it any other way , I have even turned my wife around to love the Roosters, she didn't have any interest in footy previously, the only problem now being that she loves Todd Carney & now we have agreed not to argue about what the club did in regard to the "wild one", because it was getting pretty heated!!

My daughter was born in 2004 too. She follows the Roosters too though to be honest she's not too keen on football - obviously doesn't take after her Mum but I'll keep working on her. I hope your wife hasn't switched over to the Sharks? Round 18 could be fun for you both.

No way mighty, for some reason she just likes Toddy's tats, but she'll always be a Rooster now, hmmmmmm maybe I should get some ink done?!

Please go scrub your keyboard immediately! The equivalent of washing out your mouth! Mum was a Blue and Dad was a Maroon. My eldest sister chooses to support Brisbane and QLD for Dad and I follow NSW for Mum. Our middle sister married a Souths fan so she chose her own very special brand of hell....That's a wonderful birth year for your son. Double figures for him then this year..does that make you feel old?
