Finch has made it clear he wants to play under Maguire, Souths will likely sign Finch and Jennings. Personally, I'd prefer Finch over Maloney, at least he can tackle, Maloney is leading the worst defenders list for 2012. At least SBW will make 2013 interesting.

Don't let statistics fool you. Missing the most tackles doesn't necessarily mean he is the worst defender in the NRL. Far from it. It means that opposing teams run most of their attack at the halves or smaller players that do not hide on the fringes like Soward for instance. I see that Watmough is 3rd on that list. He seems good enough for his state and country.

Maloney is also 3rd on the list as 'Top Pointscorers' as well. Wish we had him this year.

Rumour hot that Souths has signed Finch for two seasons to play 5/8 as well as fourth Burgess, Tom. Tom has been playing with Bradford Bulls and apparently is a Sam Burgess clone, he is the biggest brother at 6 foot 6 and 118 kg and hits like a Mac truck.
