All played for us.
And we wonder why we can't win games.
Blame whoever youse want, the last few days read has been hilarious, but look at that, we could have 8 SOO players. We have 1.

Pearce got hit as he kicked it every single time. Either he was too shallow/close to the ruck or we weren't getting go-forward (and Qld were offside). Mostly I think it was that Qld backrow was hunting for him.
I agree, whichever selector Creagh has compromising pictures of needs to call his bluff and just come out and say that he likes boys/goats/piercing and then drop his useless arse. It's scientifically impossible for Easts to be in Souths' shadow when there's daylight between them and us.
Easts to win

Yeah perhaps, but as others have said - it's going to be a very, very different ball game at Suncorp in three weeks time.

Pearce trys very hard, but there just seems still something missing of a great number 7, the kicking straight to the best player in the world over and over, the standard inside ball to a forward to get crunched, very limited running of the ball and the damm falling over when he tries to step. I would luv to see him develop into a world class 7, Im worried the skill just isnt quite there, does anyone agree?

Hmm, perhaps I was looking at different things but I thought Pearce was one of our best. He was a lot more involved then Carney who himself was fairly good once he got into it. Lets not forget he led the chase after almost every single one of his kicks, almost broke the line a couple of times and also belted Nate Myles at an important stage in the game. He's not World Class yet and his kicking game (along with Carney's tonight) was very poor. Repeatedly going high on the 5'th to Slater, Tate and Inglis and not finding the ground on most punts is immeasurably stupid. Perhaps Stuart is telling them to do it but as someone before me said, those sort of kicks are a lucky dip. Much better to play the percentage and field position. I believe he is surely imporving though.
I was much more disappointed in the back three tonight. Stewart (Although he scored two tries) looked generally unenthusiastic. Hayne was a better but still very side-to-side and was lucky to kick ahead for Morris's try. I also thought Stewart looked slow. Didn't show much urgency at all. And Uate, while he tries hard just doesn't have any confidence in defence.
Anyway, just my opinion. Quite an enjoyable game for me though, all-in-all.

And as far as i can tell, whilst some people on here insist that he is an "organisational half", and thus shouldn't worry about all that spark and all those try assists... i'm really yet to see a player who is an "organisational half" develop into a legendary halfbackHe just seriously is not a match-winner

which would take the pressure off Pearce at 5/8 & allow him to play more ad-lib footy or to coin a coach Smith expression - "play what's in front of him". Thoughts???
