All NRL clubs should just band together and announce that any player that signs on with Isaac Moses as their agent moving forward will not be considered for an NRL contract.

Weed him out of the game slowly.

We don't need him or DCE. We have our halves combo for the future….and we don’t deal with his agent, anyway. Think he’ll end up at Parra or Manly.

Moses was already out of the game de registered as a player manager until Politis set up a meeting between Moses and Vlandys which got him back in league.

          Indeed.
Savala is big, but is still mobile.
          He has a big boot.
High bombs, long kicks, something we've been missing.

Doing short line drop outs is ridiculous...can easily cost us games.
A much better idea is for Savala to take the drop outs and boot the ball to somehere near halfway, our defence then starting well away from our tryline.

For $1m we could maybe re-sign/upgrade several promising young players we already have.
I'm not a believer in DCE, his best footy is in the past.

          $1m for DCE.
          $1m+ for Galvin.
          $1m+ for D Brown

Seems every player on market costs $1m.

If we don't upgrade the 'kids' we have, someone else will.
We need to spend our money at home.

I wouldn't be in for giving Galvin a million dollars a season either but lets be real, both he and DCE are better choices than Hugo and Sandon right now.

              Correct.
What a deceitful, manipulative and ungrateful snake he is.

For those that dont recall, in 2017 we had his nephew Mitchell signed and then he used us as leverage to get him a better deal at Parra.
You dont dishonour a successful businessman like Politis.

Had he stayed, would he have premiership rings?

There's so much turmoil at that club and so many rumours, who knows where the truth with Galvin lies.
I understand what you’re saying BB, however Teddy came to us after 6 years of FG under his belt already establishing himself as the games best prospects and on the verge of origin selection/talk of him potentially playing (if my memory serves me well I may be wrong about that).

TheWests Tigers back then were a basket case club compare to now, where looking from the outside in are a much more settled club and that reflects with their position on the ladder management and the competitive nature of all their games bar one they’re on the rise and provided no major injuries for all likelihood will play finals for the first time in like 15 years.

Again Galvin hasn’t earned a million dollar contract at 19 imagine the other effects of such monster deals for kids, ticket prices, season passes, club merchandise, food and beverage parking all of it.

It’s ridiculous to suggest he at 19 cannot take his game to the next level he is coached by the last 6 to win them a premiership or even play finals footy. Benji is a club great and he’s doing way better then all of his predecessor’s as it stands.

                Its Isaac Moses blueprint.

Agree with all of your post except this part.

If I was the manager of a young player that COULD very well be a future number 6 for Australia, Blues, Premiership winner etc then I'd want him to be with the very best coaching staffs in the comp and as of right now that isn't Benji. That'd be Bellamy, Bennett, Cleary and MAYBE the Roosters if Cooper Cronk is still the fulltime halves coach here.

I would not be going with the likes of Benji, Ryles, Woolf or Seibold as they do not have a proven track record of producing great halves yet as a coach.

Yes that’s correct and I agree with you, I highly doubt any of those clubs will make a play for him bar Souffs Cody will finish there probably end of next year, Politis won’t deal with Moses Storm have Hughes/Munster and Cleary well they have hedged their bets on Taligi/Cleary Cole/Cleary unlikely, unless he’s willing to play Reggie’s which he probably won’t,

The talk is Parramatta or Canterbury will be his landing spot both clubs Ciraldo/Ryles do you think he will be a better player if he lands there?

You might on the money with Souffs though.

I wasn’t talking about Sandon. Sammy and Hugo are our future, DCE and Galvan aren’t. And Galvan has done nothing to convince me he is as good as they claim. Rather not risk losing Hugo for the sake of a short term DCE deal in the twilight of his career. Plus, the idea of signing him doesn’t feel right to me.

A lot of faith shown in Hugo on this site after just one game. I’d like to get carried away with what we saw from that one game as well but to be realistic claiming he is our future after 80mins is probably premature. I definitely hope he is - local junior and looked very composed but we need to see him do it for the rest of the season or at least the next few months before we commit down that path. I hope he brains it as it will be a much better outcome if so than paying up for a 36yr old short term replacement.

Yeah I'd agree with you there, Panthers, Storm and Roosters seem highly unlikely but they'd be ideal options for any young half. Ciraldo/Ryles could be good options but they are unproven so it is riskier but the Eels or Manly seem like the two clubs that would throw the biggest money at a young half.

100% it is premature, I remember when Luke Brooks debuted in the NRL in a nothing game and he dominated, set up a couple of tries and everyone thought that he was the next Joey Johns but alas he became simply a solid consistent first grader (Or less depending on who you ask)

Hugo didn't have the game that Brooks did all those years ago, he was good but I'd want him to string together an entire season or two of that before we start going on about him being our future.

Hugo kicked the short dropout over the sideline on the full.
                              Inexperience
Why was a rookie taking an important kick like that at all?
Anyway, as this year is basically a trial for the future, why not trial Rodwell etc in FG too.

Except Moses already owns Newcastle & Manly.....they will do whatever he suggests
