I'm just amazed that this thread has gone on for 7 pages and nobody has said this isn't Roosters related yet.

That and an unnamed member not mentioning how well May is playing.

I personally don’t blame the kid for wanting to run from that Club..

If he doesn’t feel like playing under Benji Marshall will get the best out of his career then he has every right to not want to extend beyond 2026..

I must say the Clubs reaction since his decision and some of the senior players comments on the socials makes me kind of understand why he wants no part of the Club..

What a basket case of a place.

Moses took Mitchell Moses, Aaron Woods and Tedesco out of the Tigers in 2017.
        Fair enough.

Old mate's got some positive mail of Moses (he's a relative/friend or whatever? I get it). However, he seems like one of those lurkers whose value within NRL circles is unclear.

I get that players need 'real estate agents' to help shop them around. However, I'd be reckoning if your reputation's such that Easts (and possibly others) refuse to deal with you then you're of little value.

He reminds me of a local agent who loves to brag he can get everybody the best prices. Some buy into the BS after listing their house for 6 months, getting some competitive bids and hoping they'll somehow magically increase their sale price with him. As an investor we were recently messed around by him playing hardball on a price, then constantly claiming he was gonna re-list the property if we didn't agree to a heap of BS. We said 'FINE', walked and then had him desperately calling us back a couple of weeks later saying 'we'll fix all the things you asked for, give you the lower price and give you a 45 day settlement period'.

Meanwhile we'd already done a deal with an agent who the other seller had sacked because she was too 'soft'. Why? Well she wasn't 'soft'... she was simply more pleasant / predictable to deal with. IMO it's a bit like dealing with Trump. Unless the ONLY option for you is buying a place in Trump Tower then there's no need to put up with his attitude/antics.

Gus is so obvious, even though he’s allegedly trying hard not to be.

I think it's great that the Tigers have dropped this little upstart.

Luai had won 3 comps before he decided to focus on financial security. He then went on to win his 4th comp before moving to the team that just won another wooden spoon. He also wished he could've stayed at the club he loves. Jerome has earned the big pay day!

Galvin has won and achieved diddly squat! Moses has potentially mislead him and now the majority of the NRL fan base think he's a spoilt little brat.

I think I like Galvin less than Cody Walker. Help!

I find it funny how the Tigers supporters were thrilled that the Tigers released Bateman, Klemmer and sent Sullivan to Souffs because they were sh!t and freed up close $2M in cap space.
A 19 year old kid on $250K asks for a release and all of a sudden it's disrespectful and they don't want the club to release him but rather drop him to reggies for two years to teach him a lesson.
Remember what they also did to their own club legend Robbie.

They are a sitcom of a club that still has high ratings after 20 years.

and all this proves there is no loyalty by club, or player.

Galvin is in the wrong, as much as any player a club decides to let go with no explanation.

The NRL is completely at fault for all of these transfers and decisions.

                          • it was the tigers who offered galvin 6m for 5 years and an upgrade for next year. this isn't about galvin being greedy.
if the club wanted him i'd be happy with that. doubt he'll be released this year though - with the year half over they'd only save 175k. not sure they'd take townshend as a swap.
if parra wanted him long term they could do worse than offer dylan brown

                            • How could Galvin's game not develope playing alongside Lui who has just won 4 grand finals playing next to the best halfback in the game?

                              • Galvin has done nothing wrong here, at least not publicly. His contract expires at the end of 2026 why are the Tigers trying to get him to extended his contract so far in advance? Because they want him for less than he can probably get on the open market when he can negotiate with rival clubs at the end of this year. It's a pretty poor response from the Tigers with the childish statement they put out a few days ago which has kicked off a united pile on to a teenager because everyone hates his manager but that's typical of the Fatso who is running the Tigers we all remember the Craig Wing press conference.
