  • I'm with Sam.

Galvin has told the Tigers he will not be at the club when his contract expires at the end of the 2026 season.

They way Richo has carried on is disgraceful. The kid will bear the scars of the CEO's dummy spit for the rest of his career.

    • You gotta feel for the kid. His team mates ganging up on him and posting sh!t on social media is slack. It would be classified as workplace bullying were I'm from.

      • I find it interesting that Luai and Turuva bagged lachie for leaving the tigers for more money however they just signed at the club for more money then they were on at Penrith

Yes they have had more seasons in first grade but still harsh on a 19 year old kid

luai might be jealous Galvin has cracked the mill mark earlier

What Luai should also remember he was carried by Cleary and Penrith through his premierships and origin until he finally stepped up last year after he signed the $1m contract and Cleary was injured

otherwise he has been solid for the tigers but nothing amazing

        • I feel for Galvin because some heavy hitters (Moses & Gus) have put doubt in his mind for their own benefit.
Like I said at the start of this thread he has already got a deal for more money at another club & that club I believe is the Dogs.
The Tigers should suck it up, reinstate him to 5/8 & try to make the 8 this year.
I dont care what anyone says LG is a top player.

          • All I know is that this BS took all the pressure off Spencer and just goes to show how bloody fake all the media is… just a few days ago you’d have thought Spencer punched JT the way some of the media was carrying on.. now complete radio silence.. what’s wrong does JTs feelings mean nothing now? lol what a joke. Anyway thanks tigers and Galvin for taking the spotlight

Galvin has won and achieved diddly squat! Moses has potentially mislead him and now the majority of the NRL fan base think he's a spoilt little brat.
He has the right to not renew at Tigers if he so chooses.
Anyway, radio news said that NRL is going to conduct an investigation into the goings on at Tigers with Galvin.
Bullying was mentioned earlier in this thread.
Yes, there are laws against workplace bullying and harassment.
So too against using the internet to bully and harass.
              The kid's a teenager.
Galvin's mental health was mentioned in the radio report.
Yes, "all roads lead to lawyers".

No one has said he isn’t a top player and completely agree he has been poorly managed by Moses…he obviously has a new deal however that is illegal under the rules …

I will only believe that if you frame it “ I like Cody Walker more than Lachie Galvin” …….much harder to say it that way.

Agree, he’s only 19 years old. He’s been badly managed by his manager and now being torn to shreds by the media who have clearly taken one side. I feel sorry for the Tigers and their fans but the whole coverage is way over the top. Galvin’s reputation may never recover from this and he’s barely out of high school.

                      • I’ve gotta say, I’ve never watched the guy play a game. And from the highlights, he doesn’t look that special. He’s not the next Freddy.. or for that matter, next Braith

Nice to talk footy again. That other threads been hijacked.

Agree that he's more Braith than Fred.

                          • technically he has done nothing wrong , but he has been poorly managed / advised . his manager is in my estimation an extension of galvin , so whatever his management have done I see , happens with his approval .

apparently parra are favs for his signature, the club who ditched him in the first place , and he says benji is a poor coach , ryles is 1 and 5 . hope he goes there , like lomax did and it turns to shit .

I think it stinks, i hope i never see the spoilt brat in roosters colors, kid can play , but this bollocks that he is the best teen gus has seen ...fittler, sbw, alexander, inglis, hell how old was anasta when he started.

as for him getting bullied, the cynic in me says just a ploy to get that early release .

                            • Wow, they devoted pretty much the entire hour to the subject on NRL 360. And gee Braith is completely fired up against Moses, Galvin and the parents.

                              • I dont know why Galvin would have a crack at Marshall. I would have thought any young half would love to be coached by one of the best ever halves in the NRL. Marshall has been coached by some of the best in the business too.....so surely he has a lot to offer

Whats with Luai & Turuva, having a crack Galvin? Both left Penrith for $$$ and no one crapped on them about it- sounds like they may be a bit jealous of the money this kid is being offered?

Turuva especially- like you're a winger mate - STF up and stay on your wing.

I hope we don't make a play for Galvin - leave the circus arounf the whole drama to others
