We all saw the rubbish the QLD players dished up, well it went on in the stands as well.
I took my daughter to her first Origin in Brisbane well, she said it will be the last time she ever goes there to watch an Origin game.
Being Blues supporters we copped crap from everywhere, and I'm not talking about friendly banter. On the train trip back to town we got copped it again, so we got out early and walked. She said she was frightened in the train, she thought someone was going to hit us.
Anyone would have thought they had won by 100 points - it was only 1. And if the ref's had done there job properly NSW should have won.

I think it is Qlders mate, I was disgusted & my 10 yo son couldn't understand how we could watch such a great game & then at the awards ceremony, have our captain & players booed by the QLD crowd, to me that is the ultimate in bad sportsmanship. I was thinking about it & I truly think that if that game had been played in Sydney, we would've applauded Petro for his efforts over the years & we would've politely applauded the winning QLD team, we might have abused the tripe out of Myles & Tate because they were not good sports, but I really do think that we would've shown the victors the respect most of them deserved, we are all Australians after all, the trouble with QLDers is that they count Qld first, then Australia, whereas NSWelsh people hold Australia first, then NSW!

You are spot on here with your last sentence Testament to this is after the floods in QLD 2011 the former QLD Premier Anna Bligh made a speech In it her meesage was how they would rally togther and recover from this becasue WE are Queenslanders Not WE are Australans but WE are Queenslanders

im a queensland and couldnt give a toss about origin or who won. ori9in is all about how much money chanel 9 makes from 3 games a year. orininally it was called city , country.
so now we have basically qld (half cast aboriginals) with way too much uncontrollable agression.:in regards to this point does any one else but me notice the first in all the time is fat guts over rated hudges and fat thyaday. its almost like they are making it ratial motivation instead of state pride.
