The Burns tackle was bad he was off the ground and to me it looked like there was intent there.

The Inglis one will be interesting. I don't think he meant to hit him in head but when you go in with that force and get it wrong you should suspended.

He should get 4-5 weeks will only get 1-2.

I agree with the square up things IMO After that tackle today on Kennedy one of our players had every right to flatten Burns without any repercussions

How unlucky was Travis Burns.
While he deserverd to get sent off, he would never had been sent off if Inglis hadn't cased a media storm in a teacup.

Burns was blatantly intentional where as Inglis was not.

I think a few wanted to But they know they will be having a rest with him if the do this You do it and you end up spending a week or two on the sidelines It just is not tolerated these days

Even so I still would have liked to have seen one of our players knock burns out

I disagree That was a deliberate and intentional attack to the head SEND OFF every day of the week

I def think he should have been sent, but the refs have been pathetic and haven't been sending others off when they should have. That was more my point

Ha ha - Maguire slamming Price for commenting on the tackle when it was before the review committee. Both he and Inglis commented - saying there was nothing in the tackle!

Suck it up Souffs, for once the NRL have made the right call - grade 4 dangerous contact - 4 weeks with guilty plea.

It really pissed me off the previous week when not even one of SKD's teamates charged in and resented Isaac Luke's spear tackle.
I hope the day that an opposition forward clobbers the little fharkin grub is fast approaching.

I don't know why the NRL bothered:

1. Charging Inglis with grade 4 dangerous tackle

2. Organizing a "hearing" tonight at which the grading will be "contested" by Souffs

.....as we all know the result is a foregone conclusion. He will successfully have it downgraded and he will miss one week only. Even though he deserves at least 4 weeks off. Partly because of his ethnicity, partly because the NRL want Souffs to do well this year.

Is there anyone prepared to say I am wrong about this? I sure wish the bookies ran a market on this as I would put 5 grand on him getting off with no more than a week.

Anyone complaining that it was too harsh (3 weeks was the absolute minimum it should have gone) and that Teo should have been suspended tonight (like they were similar in any way) is kidding themselves.

I don't know why I read the comments on news articles... The standard is ridiculous.

the fact that he got him on the head must have been an auto 3 weeks? probably very p'd off thinking he was the protected specieas from qld and souths? they didnt do that too me at melbourne? wonder why not?
