Uate "No Try"

Did anyone watch the Newcastle vs Warriors match? There was a try disallowed to Akuilla Uate, because he apparently dropped the ball when trying to put the ball down (with no defenders in sight). It went to Video Ref and they disallowed it, even though the replays showed that he had downward pressure and regathered the ball before the ball bounced. Thats what I thought

I thought it was a drop ball, dont think he regathered it til just as the ball touched the ground. Either way terrible mistake which could of cost them the game.
