  • Once a year midnight match

I have been wondering. Maybe once a year, before the NRL season the roosters could play a "midnight match" going from 12am - 2am.

Currently the latest game played in the NRL is 8:30pm - 10:30pm and that is only once a year (2ndv7th final). AFL has finals 8pm -11pm (I've been to one of those).
And that got me wondering, what if once a year the roosters played a special "midnight match". Or possibly a match finishing at midnight and beginning at 10pm.

What would that achieve? Seems like making a game at an inconvenient time, just for the sake of being inconvenient.

i'm sure the players and coaching staffs would love to have the body clocks of the players mucked around with just a little more imagin waiting all day to play the game you'd be dead before you started and what time would the recovery session start

Is there an option in the poll for:

"Your out of your mind" ?????

I often wonder whether the cereal "fruit loops" came first or the insult "you fruit loop!"
might start a thread about it ay

Yeah, the NRL already has crowd problems as it is.

I am asleep by then, not driving to a stadium that I live 40 minutes away from and then getting home after 3am... no.

No, especially if it's on a weeknight.

Sometimes, just occasionally, it is best not to type out your every thought.......
