Souths halfback Chris Sandow reveals why he was angry against the Bulldogs
SOUTHS halfback Chris Sandow has revealed why he was so angry against the Bulldogs on Sunday. Sandow put a big shot on Luke Patten and threw punches at Michael Ennis.
"I grew up like that. Sometimes I get angry and just want to bash blokes," he said.
"My kicking game wasn't good so I was getting angry. I wanted to belt someone.
"But it was nothing against Luke Patten and Michael Ennis."
Sandow was yesterday promoting the Close the Gap campaign, which is aimed at highlighting the health issues facing indigenous Australians.
The NRL will dedicate round 23 this year to help promote the cause.
Some 11 per cent of NRL players have indigenous heritage, including Greg Inglis, Johnathan Thurston, Scott Prince, Nathan Merritt, Jamal Idris and Matt Bowen
IF clubs want to beat Soufs all the have to do is niggle Chris Sandow and he will start fighting and stuff his kicking up.
One day mr 130 missed this season is going to do it in public and end up with a nice charge sheet.
